Warning: Completely biased against RP.

Okok, readers, don't be too sad. I know not many people update their blogs much, and even if they do, it's at most once or twice a day. And when they really do update, it's not even interesting. Of course, i admit our blog hasn't been very active lately, but that's cos we've been really tied down by school/work/boys lately. But hey, when we update, it's like the light of the world lah! So interesting. hahahah. i suddenly had a lightbulb and dingggg got some inspiritation to blog. Hold on tiiiight, for a long post! Let me elaborate further to ensure a strongggg... "B"! or perhaps a weak "A". -.=

Right. Okay, to first explain the "strong B" and "weak A" 'joke', i'm talking about school grades lah. In RP(i hate to categorise myself as part of RP. T.T) we're graded according to

1. Class participation

You are required to ask questions/answer questions(when questions are shot during YOUR presentation) or else it would deem that you're unattentive etc. Or simply anti-social. -.- Stereotypers. What if i was some smart nut but don't like to talk. Damn you lah, RP.

2. Daily presentations

Yeah nothing much to talk about under this point. For my ^%*^$-ed up lecturers, they grade you quality AND QUANTITY. As in, quality of content, duh, okay understood that quality of presentations matter alot. But quantity, sometimes they say, NO LESS THAN 10 SLIDES. -.= And also, how you defend your presentations when questions are SHOT. not raised. SHOT. They hurt okay. I mean, sometimes it really sounds as though as they're out to bring you down:( although i understand most are just asking questions to ace the day's module, but they ask questions that throw you in a corner lor. Ouch!

3. Teamwork

Lemme just extract a comment from one of my teachers okay, and be done with this point.

" Comments for Team: I would hope to see members taking more initiative to start discussion as well as gather information from one another right from the start of the day in future lesson. Discussion should not take place only after I instruct the team to do so but instead it should take place spontaneously.
A leader and a scribe should be appointed for each lesson if necessary.

Comments for Individual:
Hi Scarlett, I would agree that the team took a long time to figure out what the problem statement was asking for. In future, I would suggest that the team fully explore the problem statement first before attempting the worksheet. One suggestion I have is to be more engaged in the problem statement discussion at the start of the day. I remember someone mentioned that the task for the day is to develop a program like simplebox.exe and I subsequently wrote it on the board. This is actually an opportunity for you and your team to clarify what it means by developing a program. Therefore, I hope to see you and your team being more engaged in the discussion for our subsequent lessons. "

4. RJ(reflective journal which often summarises the day depeding on question. Eg. Describe one important thing which contributed to your education today. Sometimes they have questions such as, talk about your goal/goals in life). And then they'll like, although your RJ was interesting, your class participation and teamwork was not blah blah.. for that i give you a strong, B. %$%$^&&)*&)87083787627^%%#$# might as well give a weak A.

5. UT. (understanding test)

Who says RP got no exams? THEY JUST CALL IT ANOTHER NAME LOR. This UT is a damn big percentage of our grades okay! No way is RP slack.

Okay, now for the basic updates.

Xt, Angie, Cath and i meet every day at interchange before we go to school, occasionally leaving the rest behind, in giving up waiting and reaching school just in the nick of time. In simpler terms, sometimes we leave each other(whoever is late) behind. We wait until the maximum we can in order to reach school on time.

That's before school. After school, we're like meeting each other every day too, tgt with Philip(xt's bf :D) and his friends too. Namely Cody, Lewis, some long hair guy, Audrey(sometimes).....

Angie is in Social Dance as mentioned in previous post.

Cath is in canoeing AND Nath(as i mentioned we're busy with boys, it's only them... lol. peace ah people. i'm only insulting myself to be such a failure.....)

Xt is in, synergy? But only requires her to turn up during hols.

I am in, nothing! :D damn happy. Maybe i AM lazy, but i'm already so drained from school every day lah. Weak maybe. Wdv. I don't wanna try being more tired. I fall sick QUITE easily, so i don't want to fall sick. I'd rather concentrate on aceing all modules and therefore earning chances of skipping school! There's so much i have to complain about RP, but i'm lazy. These are the few lor.

Anyway, we girls are doing nothing to spice up our looks. AHAHAHHA. Cos girls try to look hot eh? Hence the word spice up. We're doing nothing about it. Or perhaps ONLY i aren't. LOL. Girls in poly like, pedi and mani themselves, wear the "wah seh!" kind of clothes which make men take a THIRD look. What we wear only make them take second looks. HAHAHAHA. As in seriously, we wear like, okok lah, i won't say ugly (hahahha again), but i guess we don't go to that extent lor.

I'm like already dressing down almost every day. I take effort not to repeat though. I repeat bottoms alot, but tops, so far haven't yet ^^. So proud of myself. HOWEVERRR i like repeat jackets alotttt cos my class is like, freezing 0 degrees lah. Okok, figure of speech(like my 10,000 years i don't literally mean 10,000 years -.-) So wearing a jacket is like a MUST. if not i'll be turned into an ice cube. I can be shivering in my jacket okay.

Speaking of dressing down, tmr's the day i dress down TO THE MAXXX. I'm wearing the RP shirt T.T with some other classmates i planned to wear with. Super ugly stuff, but camaraderie bodoh. Lol.

ARGHHH i'm !@#$%^&*(*&- ing gonna look like an RP ambassador tmr :(

Rahhh got the rp.sg -.- as good as MPSS's telly num lor.

See, so poor quality got string hanging down from it. (i know, completely biased. string come out also RP's fault)

Hi, missed me?

Just had canoe practice yesterday and now I'm aching a little everywhere(o.O).

Angie's in Social Dance IG, Scarlett's in nothing(lazy as ever) and I'm in Canoe IG. So yea, let's hope we don't get too busy till we can't get to blog at all.

There's nothing much happening in our lifes besides studying and hanging out at Starbucks and random places. So yea, I'll update again soonish.

Finally after so long, we three have taken another picture together!

Scarlett and Angie were at Bugis before coming to find me at work on Saturday. They both bought the same bag which is brown in colour. Happy to see them as I was about to finish my work, the day hadn't been a very very good one you see.

How the day began...

And how the sun shone in my house. Can't remember whether this was the first day or third day or orientation.

Angie's and my school. STA. School of technology of the arts, if i'm not wrong. Arts faculty.

And the funniest shit guy on earth lah! My group was supposed to perform chinese opera aka wayang and he, Jacob, was the main lead. The leaders ask him to pose and like, sway his hands like those opera-ers with the long sleeves. Then they suddenly stopped and planned the moves again. And he stood there, still with his arms still in place, for at least 3-5 mins!! DAMN FUNNY AH. As you can see but not so clearly, the group's in a semi-circle. My entire side of the semi was laughing and laughing. I stood behind angie's back and quickly took a shot. It's damn blur cos i was laughing, and so was angie.

And even had time for a second shot! HAHAHAHAHAHA. with the laughing, still have to adjust to be as stable as possible lor. not just anyhow take. WALAU EH DAMN FUNNY.

i am not going to even bother criticising RP cos ah. There's too much too be said. All i have to say now is hai. i am so traumatised about what i've seen. *shudders*

Since it's not all about myself, shall elaborate more.

Catherine's fine with her class, group and everything. Looking forward to second and third day of orientation(while i, AM F. NOT GOING) with hai shi who couldn't make it today. (while i, (just got criticised for the short layer in my hair, and the stupid woman making some face as though its... -.- diu ni lou mou, pok gai, ham ga chan la. she thought we're stupid and spoke in cantonese. cmon lah, i'm f. chinese also lah.) didn't manage to get mine done)

And Angie, is also fine with the people in her course, and group. Loving her faci(i prefer to call them lecturers cos that's what polys call them and i don't give a f. about RP)

Xt is just about as unhappy with her class and group as i am. almost there maybe, cos i am daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn unhappy about my class. Lucky got someone to share my pain. And we're in the same building, one storey away. Throughout of today, got break then whoever finish first whoever straightaway msg. She was like, "ehh i'm out come to level 4 now!!"

Still got who. oh bumped into some people who don't give a f about us, or cath cos cath acknowledged but the motha** just turned away.

Alot of ex-mpssians-currently-RPians were online at the same cos we were all the within the campus in our individual classes. Hongqing's loving his classmates, his lecturer, his everything.

ZzZzzZz got handsome guy in my class, ang moh-ish face(!!) but not in my f. group. i think i've stabbed myself 10 000 times today.

And to end the day, *stabs*. Have fun at school tmr Cat, Angie and haishi. i am going to enjoy late night sleeping and afternoon waking to the very last. haiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.
